Tanya Chua is a Singaporean singer/songwriter who blends together traditional Eastern Asian folk sounds with a modern pop lyrical and production style to create a distinctive style of music. Chua released her debut album, Bored, in 1997 and since then she has managed to become a widespread success in her native Singapore.
