Yokohama F. Marinos is a football club from the Kanagawa Prefecture that competes in the J1 League. Located in Yokohama, it plays its home matches at the Nissan Stadium and is one of the clubs to have never been relegated from the highest tier of Japanese football. It is a dominant force both domestically and internationally which can be observed by its trophy haul consisting of the Asian Cup Winners' Cup and multiple J1 League and Emperor’s Cup trophies. Notable former players include Kazuma Watanabe, Julio César Baldivieso and Ramón Díaz.
