Los Angeles-based Act of Defiance comprises Henry Derek from Scar The Martyr, Chris Boderick and Shawn Drover from Megadeth and Matt Banchard from Shadows Fall. This supergroup formed in 2014 and went on to sign a deal with Metal Blade Records producing the 2015 album Birth and the Burial, and the 2017 album Old Scars, New Wounds.
