Martin Barre is a progressive rock musician who is well-known for his tenure as guitarist for the English rock band Jethro Tull. Hailing from Birmingham, the crafts a classic yet forward-thinking style of music that encompasses the most infectious elements of both folk rock and hard rock. Between touring and releasing records with his long-time but now defunct band, Barre built upon his own catalog of solo records, from 1994's A Trick of Memory, to 2015's Back to Steel.
