Vinicius Cantuaria is a Brazilian bossa nova musician who released his self-titled debut album in 1982 and would go on to pioneer the neo-Brazilian sound in the 1990s. Evolving his sound considerably over the years, Cantuaria has proven to be an accomplished jazz musician who's unafraid to incorporate traditional Brazilian music styles into a traditional jazz sound.
