Do Re Mi is a staged concert production that follows the story of an amateur con man who attempts to get into the juke box business, only to find out he's up against big-time criminals. Unlike conventional musicals, the show is presented as a concert, with only a piano on stage and no amplification. Actors often have scripts in hand and the music, written by Jule Styne, and lyrics, penned by Betty Comden, are center stage.
