Thao's Library is a theater production that tells the story of an unlikely friendship. Four decades after the Fall of Saigon, a Vietnamese girl lives with severe physical deformations, a product of America's chemical warfare during the Vietnam War lives with severe deformations. Across the world, a woman from New York struggles with grief and depression after the sudden passing of her younger sister. When the American woman sees photos of the Vietnamese girl's incredible makeshift library, she travels across the world to meet the hopeful young woman.
