Michael Che is a stand-up comedian and actor from New York City. After rising to attention as a writer on Saturday Night Live and a correspondent on The Daily Show with John Stewart, he went on to take over as co-anchor on the Weekend Update segment of SNL, becoming the first black cast member to do so. During his own solo stand-up sets, Che is known for his sharp observational humor.
