The Stratford 4 is a San Francisco-based band that blends together elements of dream pop, shoegaze and alternative rock to create a distinctive and uncompromising style of music. The group released its debut album, The Revolt Against Tired Noises, in 2002 and since then the group has maintained a somewhat sporadic existence with patchy performance dates. Nevertheless, The Stratford 4 maintains a high artistic pedigree and has never let go of its characteristic and intrinsic sonic aesthetic.
