Emerging out of a long legacy of stage productions inspired by Lewis Carroll's iconic story Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Wonder.land is a modern take on the fairytale that blurs he boundaries between the real world and the internet. Though the production is rooted in the classic coming of age story, it offers a fresh perspective on fantasy and reality. wonder.land tells the story of Aly, a young girl who's struggles with the everyday aspects of growing up in the 21st century. As she balances family, friends, school and teenage insecurities, she stumbles upon an online world where she may be able to create a brand new life through the looking glass of the world wide web. Combining classic theater production with technology to bring the digital world to life, the show is a multi-media affair of video projections, stunning costumes, transformative sets and a soundtrack by Blur's mastermind Daman Albarn.
