Il Treno features the works of director, novelist and poet Pier Paolo Pasolini as he traveled between his native province of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the eternal city of Rome, a trip he made in 1956. The train ride takes spectators on a Pasolini memory reel of Pasolini where it highlights his life, poetry, philosophy as well as the constant controversy that followed him until his tragic murder in 1975. This homage lasts six hours, but it can be split up into 12 thirty-minute episodes or guests can watch the whole, six-hour marathon.
