Pippo Delbono has been one of Italy's most prolific theatrical scriptwriters since his debut with Il Tempo degli Assassini in 1987. Delbono uses actors and dancers from his eponymous company alongside the choir from the Zagreb National Croatian Theater in a performance that combines dance, music, art, photography and film. In Vangelo, Delbono also aptly mixes his intimate knowledge as a dramatist, film director and actor into a competent and inspiring work that only highlights his two decades of experience with the audience.
