Entitled as Habit of Art, English playwright Allan Bennett presents a story which highlights a fictional meeting between poet W.H. Auden and composer Benjamin Britten. In the piece, Auden (as Fitz) and Britten (as Henry) rehearse an epilogue called 'Caliban's Day' as they question each others motives over past misunderstandings and difficulties. The meeting becomes an exercise in futility between the two men as the ancillary actors intervene while at the same time revealing their own inner conflicts. It first premiered at the Lyttleton Opera in 2009 and was once broadcast in more than 200 theaters as a live performance on April 22nd, 2010.
