Astrid Hadad is a Mexican singer/songwriter and performance artist who came to the forefront of Mexican art culture in 1985 when she appeared in an all-female adaptation of Mozart's opera Donna Giovanni. Having since continued to appear in a number of varied plays and musicals, Hadad has also appeared on TV soap operas in addition to maintaining an active music career.
