Mens Sana 1871 Basket is an Italian basketball club that represents the city of Siena in Tuscany. Established in 1871, it experienced its most successful phase from 2000-2014, under the name Montepaschi Siena. It won multiple domestic competitions such as the Italian League, Italian Cup and Italian Supercup, and also cinched a FIBA Saporta Cup victory. It was reformed under its current name in 2014 following bankruptcy issues and managed to rise from the fourth to the second division. The club plays its home games at the Palasport Mens Sana.
