Marlon Williams, who performs and releases music as Marley Marl, is a New York City-based DJ and producer who makes a characteristic style of hip-hop that blends together influences from old and new world sounds. Marl released his debut album, In Control, Volume 1, in 1998 and since then he has remained busy with an LP output in addition to maintaining active with a collaborative schedule with some big names from the hip-hop scene including KRS-One, LL Cool J and Nas.
