Sarah Cracknell

Famous as the lead singer of the indie dance band Saint Etienne, Sarah Cracknell is a singer/songwriter from Essex who crafts synthpop as a solo musician. After releasing her debut album, Lipslide in 1997, she turned her focus to her long-time band with whom she earned massive international acclaim. By the time Cracknell released her follow-up solo record Red Kite, in 2015, she captured the attention of an adult contemporary audience who, in addition to her Saint Ettienne fans, had been waiting for new music from the dance-inducing group.
