Nino d'Angelo

Nino d'Angelo is a singer/songwriter from Naples, Italy who blends together elements of traditional Italian folk with modern pop flourishes to create an original and uncompromising style of music. Born to a poor family, d'Angelo would drop out of school and take a job as an ice cream vendor before finding his love of music and becoming a wedding singer. D'Angelo released its debut album, Celebrita, in 1981 and has since maintained a prolific LP output schedule in addition to keeping a healthy touring regime.
