Fool for Love is a play written by playwright and actor Sam Shepard. Focusing on May and Eddie, two former lovers who happen to meet again at a motel in the desert, Fool for Love is considered part of Shepard's Family Trilogy quintet which includes Curse of the Starving Class, and True West. The Play premiered in 1983 at the Magic Theater in San Francisco and was a finalist for the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
