One of the most recent teams to enter the American Hockey League, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms hit the rink in 2014-15 when the defunct Adirondack Phantoms packed their bags and moved to Allentown, PA. The club functions as the top-club affliliate to the Philadelphia Flyers and they it plays in the AHL Eastern Conference, Atlantic Division. The Phantoms play their games at the modern PPL Center which holds a capacity of approximately 9,000 fans.
