To properly understand the musical influences that have helped create the Dutch experimental rock band GOLD, one would need to spend hours working through a tome-sized compendium about the evolution of music that the various genres that have risen and fell in various niche locations around the world. Since releasing its debut album in 2012, GOLD has managed to distinguish itself on the European live music circuit with concerts that feature a band with an engulfing stage presence and a fully realized sound.
