Known fondly as “The Sharks’, Hapoel Haifa is a football club that features in the Israeli Premier League. The club was formed in 1924 and has played its home games at the Sammy Ofer Stadium since its move from the Kiryat Eliezer Stadium in 2014. The club has won the Israeli State Cup and Toto Cup on multiple occasions and also has an Israeli Championship to its name.
