Hailing from The Netherlands, Natalie La Rose is a singer/songwriter and dancer of Surinamese descent. After a childhood spent singing and dancing, she went to study both arts at the Lucia Marthas Dance Academy in Amsterdam. Upon graduation she relocated to Los Angeles, where she signed a deal with Blackground Records, a subsidiary of Insterscope. During this time, she began working with Flo Rida, who invited her on several tours and eventually signed her to his imprints, the International Music Group label and Republic Records. La Rose found her breakthrough with her 2015 debut single "Somebody," which garnered much attention for her debut album.
