François-Xavier Demaison, is a French actor and humorist. His career is completely atypical, predestined to a career in law, following his parent's steps. But in 2001, he did an internship in New York during the attack on the World Trade Center. After this traumatic event, he decides to return to his old love, the theater. In 2002, he starts writing on his first show, Deuxieme Acte. In 2005, he renames, his show, A story pour les gens qui believe in dreams, about his own experience. Demaison also works on radio, TV and theater, such as the 2007 play, L'Arbre de joie. In 2008, his role of the late actor and humorist Coluche in the movie, L'histoire d'un mec, directed by Antoine de Caunes, put him under the spotlight. In 2011, his show, Demaison s'évade, became a success. At the same time, he continued his career in cinema, with two movies in 2016, Comment j'ai rencontré mon père, directed by Maxime Motte, and L'Esprit d'équipe, directed by Christophe Barratier.
