Les Cavaliers is a French play written by Joseph Kessel. The story takes place in Afghanistan in 1957, when a young boy named Ouroz participates in a dangerous game organize by the King. He falls and breaks his leg, turning his quest for glory into an utter failure. He must return home to his province and face his father, the famous Toursène, who won the game a long time ago.
