Mothertapes is an alternative rock duo from Portland, Oregon that released its self-titled debut album in 2015. Formed by Pete Bosack and Tommy Franzen when their previous band Wax Figures broke up, Mothertapes creates hook-laced, pop-influenced songs that are peppered with adept, progressive rock leaning instrumental accompaniments.
