Michel Galabru is a popular French actor who has played in over 250 movies and TV series. He is known for his role as the unforgettable Sergeant Gerber between in the Les Gendarmes film series which lasted between 1964 and 1982. In 1950 he was hired at the Comédie-Française, where he worked at until 1957, interpreting classic and modern authors such as Shakespeare, Molière, Marivaux, Feydeau, Courteline and also Jules Romains. He continues to perform with humor and mockery in his own one-man shows, such as Le Cancre, his 2015 one man show about his own experiences and life's work.
