Novecentois a play that's set in 1900. The story begins when a child is discovered in a wooden box on a ship. As he grows up in the machinery room of the ship, always floating between Europe and USA, he is put to work and earns the name Novecento. He quickly takes up the piano and begins playing in the ship's ballroom with an orchestra of four musicians. An adaptation of Alessandro Baricco's text, the play tells the story of the greatest pianist who has never left the sea.
