Cotton Patch Gospel is a musical based on the similarly named book by Clarence Jordan. The musical is a creation of Tom Key and Russell Treyz. The plot reimagines how the Gospel would come about in modern-day rural Georgia. With tracks like "Something's Brewing in Gainesville," "Sho Nuff," "Going to Atlanta," "The Last Supper" and "Thank God for Governor Pilate," the music and lyrics to this musical was penned by Harry Chapin.
