Sans Filtre is a comedy written, directed and performed by the humorist Laurent Baffie. The plot follows Philippe Maurice, a tobacconist who has run out of filters, though not literally. He cannot help but say everything he that comes to mind, including the honest truth about what he thinks about people. His life descends into hell, particularly after he tells his wife that she is "old and ugly." To help him, a team of doctors tries to understand his case. Sans Filtre, initially released in 2014, becomes a quick success for its slapstick humor.
