Panserraikos is a football club that plays in the Football League Greece, which is the third-tier football competition in Greece. It is based in the city of Serres where it was formed in 1964 as a result of the unification of two clubs, Apollon and Iraklis. It debuted in the national championships and established itself as a worthy competitor in the game. The club was heading in the right direction and eventually earned a promotion into the Super League Greece. But it was relegated in 1992 and struggled to make it back to the top league ever since.
