Panionios F.C. is a Greek football club that represents Nea Smyrni – a suburb of Athens. Founded in 1890, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and has spent almost all its years competing in the top flight of the Greek football league system. With multiple league title and tournament wins, the club has tasted success at both, the domestic and continental levels. It is based at the Nea Smyrni Stadium.
