Good Morning, an indie rock duo from Melbourne, Australia, was formed in 2014. They launched their career with the album Shawcross that same year, followed by their second EP, Glory, in 2016. Their debut studio album, Prize//Reward, was released in 2018, which marked the beginning of their prominence in the indie music landscape. In 2019, they released two albums, The Option and Basketball Breakups. In 2021, they entered into a contract with Polyvinyl Records and released their fourth album, Barnyard. Additionally, they secured a publishing deal with Sub Pop during the same year. In March 2024, Good Morning released their seventh album, Good Morning Seven, which reached #93 on the ARIA charts, representing their first foray into the top 100. The duo has also embarked on tours, including a North American tour with Waxahatchee. With their introspective lyrics and lo-fi sound, Good Morning has built a loyal following through their consistent musical endeavors.
