Three Days in the Country is a play by Patrick Marber that was adapted from Ivan Turgenev's comedy A Month in the Country. Set in Russia during the 19th century, the story begins when a young tutor with a reckless and romantic disposition comes to work at a country estate. During the course of three days, he teaches the young and old members of the household a few lessons in love.
