Wuppertaler SV Borussia is a football club from Wuppertal that was founded in 1954 following the merger of TSG Vohwinkel, SSV Wuppertal and later by Borussia Wuppertal. Also known as “Die Löwen”, it competes in the Regionalliga West and plays its home matches at the Stadion am Zoo. Notable former players include Günter Pröpper, Horst Szymaniak and Erich Probst.
