Omar Samuel Pasley, who goes by the moniker OMI, is a singer/songwriter from Clarendon, Jamaica who creates an original style of music by blending vintage reggae instrumentals with contemporary pop vocal arrangements. Breaking out with his popular song "Cheerleader" in 2012, Pasley proved that the reggae genre can be pushed to new, exciting heights well into the 21st century.
