The Gold Magnolias

The Gold Magnolias is a New York City-based soul band that was founded in 2009. Interjecting elements of funk, blues and jazz into its heady sonic stew, the band manages to serve up a distinctive style of music that's best absorbed in a live setting. While The Gold Magnolias typically performs its own characteristically original material, it isn't above performing classic from well known acts like James Brown or Sly Stone.
