Hiroya Tsukamoto is a guitarist from Kyoto, Japan who blends a number of diverse styles together including jazz and folk to create a distinctive style of music. Initially picking up the banjo, Tsukamoto would eventually switch to guitar and let the instrument engulf nearly all of his time as he became adept on it. Tsukamoto received a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in 2000 and since then the talented guitarist has been touring internationally, including frequent stops at famed jazz hub Blue Note in New York.
