Franco Cerri is a musician from Milan who is hailed as one of the best guitarists in Italy. Known for his European jazz stylings, he began his prolific career in the the late 1940s, when he was a side man for Django Reinhardt. In 1952, he released his first album as leader, Franco Cerri Quintet. He's since risen as one of the most renowned jazz guitarists of his generation.
