Jan Jaap van der Wal

Jan Jaap van der Wal is a comedian, actor and television personality from The Netherlands. As he made his steady rise to attention as the host of the satirical news show Dit was het nieuws, for over a decade from 1999 to 2010, he also took on radio gigs and held his own solo stage shows such as 2005's BSUR, which he toured through The Netherlands. Van der Wal has since continued to make his name on stage and on television with appearances on shows like The Daily Show (Netherlands) and stage performances like Dystopia and New Belgrade.
