Lion Babe

Lion Babe is a R&B duo from New York City comprised of vocalist Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman. While Hervey pulls inspiration from classic soul singers like Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Tina Turner, Goodman's stylistic inspirations primarily land with modern beatsmiths and producers like J Dilla, Flying Lotus and Timbaland. Paring their unique styles together, the duo first started making music together in 2012 and could go on to truly hone its characteristic sound for a few years before releasing its debut album Begin on Interscope Records in 2016.
