Rhiannon Giddens is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Greensboro, North Carolina. Proficient in both violin and banjo, she crafts a blues and country-infused brand of old time folk. With a vocal style that rivals greats like Patsy Cline and Nina Simone, Giddens had earned the respect of fans and critics alike long before she released her debut solo album, Tomorrow Is My Turn, on Nonesuch Records in 2015.
