Ola Salo is a Swedish rock singer/songwriter from Rottne, Växjö Municipality. He rose to attention as a member of the glam rock band The Ark, particularly after the group released its 2000 album We Are The Ark. In addition to his work with the band, Salo is also known for translating Andrew Lloyd Webber's beloved Jesus Christ Superstar into Swedish and for taking on the starring role of Jesus in a 2008 production of the musical. Salo continues to release new records with The Ark, such as 2010's In Full Regalia.
