Often referred to as FC Lorient, FC Lorient-Bretange Sud is a professional football club from Lorient, Brittany in France. Founded in 1926, the team competes in Ligue 1 and plays its home matches at the Stade du Moustoir. While Lorient may not be one of France's heavyweights, it has been responsible for shaping the careers of many great footballers such as Yoann Gourcuff, Laurent Koscielny, André-Pierre Gignac and Kevin Gameiro.
