Il Turco in Italia is a comedic opera in two acts by Gioachino Rossini. The story follows Fiorilla, who is bored of her husband Geronio and falls in love with the handsome Turk Selim while also having an affair with boy toy Narciso. When all parties attend a masked ball, the twisted love story gets more confusing as the evening dissolves into awkward encounters and beautiful arias.
