Dido, Queen of Carthage by Stephen Storace is an Opera in three acts. Dido is promised to marry Iarbas, King of Getulia, but is in love with Trojan warrior Aeneas. Despite the fact that Dido isn't allowed to marry Aeneas, she still refuses to marry Iarbas. War breaks out between Iarbas and Aeneas. Dido ends up committing suicide and dies amidst the flames of the city.
