Young Guv

Young Guv is the stage name of Canadian musician Ben Cook. Under this pseudonym, the Toronto-based artist produces music that is more pop than his previous garage rock sound. After his band F*cked Up went on a hiatus, Cook teamed up with Jesse Labovitz to form Young Guv & the Scuzz and released the EP A Love Too Strong in 2012. He then changed the name to just Young Guv and issued Ripe 4 Luv in 2015 via Slumberland Records. 2 Sad 2 Funk and GUV I & II followed in 2018 and 2019 respectively and featured the tracks "She's a Fantasy," "Every Flower I See," "Luv Always" and more. His other popular songs include "Patterns Prevail," "Caught Lookin'" and "Try Not to Hang on So Hard."
