The Oldest Boy is a stage production that tells the familiar story of competing cultures through most extraordinary circumstances. The story is centered on the family of a Tibetan man and an American woman, who have a toddler named Tenzin. As the young parents clash over ideas of love and religion, two monks recognize Tenzin as a spiritual leader and request permission to take him to train at a monastery in India. With very tangible consequences at hand, the couple must decide whether to keep him at home or send him on his spiritual journey.
