Connacht Rugby is an Irish professional rugby union team that compete in the European Rugby Champions Cup and the Pro14. Founded in 1885 it spent several decades playing in amateur league tournaments, before turning professional in 1995. Since then, the team has showcased its incredible gameplay in many major tournaments and has developed an underdog status. The biggest achievement of this team was winning the Pro14 in 2016. This rugby team can be seen playing its home games at the Galway Sportsgrounds.
