You Can't Take It With You is an Pulitzer Prize-winning play written by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. Over three acts, the comedy unfolds as two families, an off-kilter bunch and a bland upper-crust group, collide. After Alice, the only straight-laced person in her family, falls in love with Kirby, the son of a Wall Street mogul, the two lovers decide to marry but must first introduce their families. As tensions rise over a series of severe misunderstandings, the production evokes themes of politics, human understanding and the true meaning of happiness.
